The four year wait is finally over! TDE’s original Top Dawg, Jay Rock has released his highly anticipated studio album 90059

The rapper from Watts has teased us for far too long by releasing singles such as Gumbo, 90059 and snippets of Easy Bake featuring King Kendrick Lamar and the soulful SZA. All of them are masterpieces in their own way, but felt incomplete for so long until today.

The 11 track album has seen Rock really up his game by improving his flow, perfecting his execution and delivering some of the best bars we’ve ever had the pleasure of hearing from him. However, it was track 8 on the album that TDE fans were lusting for as the boys were back. Vice City featuring the Black Hippy crew Jay Rock, Kendrick, Q and Soul produced by Cardo see Kendrick take the lead in a powerful multi-pitch flow which follows the Black Hippy members throughout.

Being one of Jay Rock’s favourite tracks on the album, he has even gone as far as releasing a video to go with it so you can see the artists in action talking about their vices, people’s addictions and just straight up being the Top Dawgs of the Modern Era.

Last seen together on the acclaimed remix of U.O.E.N.O, arguably one of the most talented groups the history of Hip Hop has ever seen have delivered again and the fans definitely have something to shout about.
